Prepare for Take-off: How We Met

Emily was running late to board her flight from New York back to Los Angeles. Dan had booked a last minute flight to LA after visiting his family in NYC and was stuck in a middle seat. Little did they both know that Emily's late entrance onto the plane and Dan's unlucky seat selection would be the beginning of the best adventure. Dan saw Emily board the flight and had a feeling that this very late, flustered traveler was to be his seatmate. Dan was right, and from there the relationship took flight.

Headed to Cruising Altitude: Falling in Love

Dan and Emily fell in love in LA. Dan fell in love with Emily's dedication to work, her sense of humor, and her smile. Despite her driving skills and her inability to not watch TV shows without him he knew she was the one. Emily fell in love with Dan's ability to make her laugh in any moment, his love of family and his curious mind... and even understood that his love for her could only be matched by his love of cookies and cream ice cream.

Prepare for Landing: The Proposal

Dan knew he wanted to marry Emily from early on in their relationship. The hard part was... how do you surprise a television producer who likes to know EVERYTHING? He enlisted the help of some best friends to pull the surprise proposal off. After many tricks, twists and turns, Dan got Emily to the perfect place to pop the question, a place that celebrates where they met-- the Santa Monica Airport Museum of Flying. Dan asked, Emily said yes, and they were soaring.

You have Arrived at Our Final Destination: The Wedding

Dan and Emily are so excited to celebrate their love story with their friends and family in such a special place to them. New York is where Emily's mom grew up, and is a place cemented in her grandparents history. New York is also Dan's hometown, and is a place near and dear to his heart and soul. We cannot wait to see all your smiling faces for a weekend of love and laughs, and to bring it all back to where our adventure began... in New York!
